Most of the affiliate programs you join they provide you
with their ads. But, I suggest you not to use these ads as
many persons may be advertising with same ads and these ads
are seen by most of the persons daily. Describe in a nutshell
what you offer and write some attractive phrases followed up
by your contact email address or url.
Make your ad easy to use. For instance, use a little HTML
coding in your email address. Putting a mailto: before your email
address makes it a live, clickable link on many email programs.
Rather than typing your address into their email program,
prospects can act on impulse and simply click your link.
Keep in mind that 80% of people don't type. Many more don't type
very well or don't like to type. You can increase response by
putting mailto: before your address and writing it:
mailto:you@yourname.com?subject=code
While using url of your homepage be sure to include
http://www.yourname.com instead of
just www.yourname.com
Tracking Your Advertisement
One of the simplest way to track your ad is to include
some code after ? against your url or email address.
For example, if you want to track your homepage
http://www.yourname.com. Then, use
http://www.yourname.com?code
where code
is the value you assigned to predict the traffic
coming from particular program. The same method
can also be used to track the emails. You can use
some thing like yourname@ezinead.net?subject=code
There are many log analysis tools available on the web so
using this technique should be no trouble, even for
an internet newbie.
